Work Outs feel so good!!!!

I've been working out for only two days in a row, but I feel so good already! Monday night I took a class about goal setting and lucky for me the teacher used weight loss as the goal of example! He said you have to find your why. Do you work out so you can look good? If you don't really care about that then you have to find your own reason that fits your personality. He said for him working out was worship in motion. I loved that! When he worked out he was thanking God for this body, this temple that God gave him! Me being very religeous, this worked well for me. When I want to cut my workout short, or not do it at all I remember that it is not just for me, but for God! My new goal is at least 30 min every day. Yesterday I worked out at the gym walking for a few min, then running for 30 seconds, then walking, then running, etc. I did that for 15 min, then I switched to the eliptical machine for 20 min more. Then I streched and it felt oh so good!!!! Then later in the evening I went to my fencing class!!! So much fun! He starts us out running, then stretching, and just standing in fencing position is like standing in a squat for 1 hour!!!! And last night we started using the swords!!! so fun! they are not very heavy, but holding them out away from your body works your arms! My body feels good from this exersize, now I just need to remember this feeling when I think I don't want to work out! Another thing I learned from the goal setting is make them chartable and put a reminder where you can see it. So, I'm putting a weightloss chart on my mirror. I will chart daily my weight loss/gain. Hopefully it will be mostly the former! ;-) Also, I've started writing down everything I eat. I think that I'm not going to follow the Biggest Loser diet exactly, but take things from it. It is very difficult to count your calories while making sure you get in all of your veggies, protein, starches, fruits, etc. So, now I'm just writing it all down so I'm aware of what I'm actually eating in a day and keeping track of the calories. I can do this! You can too!!!!!
